Description
Information : (supplied by Matt Ross - Reviewed 10-02-2024 CRT Database) Entry level 17" computer monitor from Sony, capable of a 70 kHz horizontal scan rate. Production of this model was outsourced to Capetronic, a Taiwanese OEM manufacturer. Chassis design is noticeably different from other Sony monitors. However, it does use the same fine pitch Trinitron tube as original Sony monitors and picture quality is excellent. Other Information : This monitor does not have the same serial interface as other Sony-branded monitors, and cannot be adjusted using the usual DAS method. Fortunately, it has a G2 adjustment knob on the flyback and doesn't suffer from excessive brightness like other models.
