This vintage/retro Gateway FPD 1830 LCD TFT 18" flat panel monitor is a great choice for your nostalgia build. These look surprisingly good even compared to modern monitors -- very sharp, especially for the time they were made. These retailed as a $1000 add-on option with a Gateway PC in the early 2000's. I like to use this particular Gateway model with retro gaming rigs from the 1997-2004 era. This one is extremely clean and the backlight is still bright. There is some discoloration or ghosting on the screen -- I have tried to show this in the pictures with arrows. It basically just looks like a slight dark smudge or a little bit of pressure damage, but all pixels behind it still work and can be read. It really only is noticable when the screen is displaying mostly white or light colors and text. The monitor shell itself has some slight scratches and scuffs but is in very good condition for being over 20 years old! PC NOT INCLUDED, it is being used for monitor demonstation purposes. Only monitor, stand, and VGA cable are included in the sale. Because this is a delicate vintage computer item, I am selling it as-is and as shown, and will not be accepting returns unless it is damaged in shipping and doesn't arrive in the same used but working condition that these pictures show.
